01 — Warranty Coverage
Arista Custom Doors Inc. strives to produce superior quality doors that are engineered and designed specifically for each individual customer. Our products are intended to stand the test of time under normal conditions and use with proper handling, installation, finishing, and ongoing care.
Subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions contained herein, Arista warrants its manufactured exterior door products to the original purchaser only, for a period of one (1) year from the original date of delivery of the product, against defects in workmanship, defects in materials, and door warping as specifically defined in this warranty.
Warranty Eligibility
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Warranty coverage requires full compliance with all handling, storage, installation, finishing, maintenance, care, and warranty requirements published by Arista.
02 — Product Scope and Eligibility
Warranty coverage applies only to products manufactured in accordance with Arista’s approved engineering and construction standards. Arista’s standard construction methods utilize engineered stile and rail components and engineered panel assemblies, including exterior-grade engineered cores, wood edge-banding, and veneered faces, designed to minimize wood movement and improve long-term dimensional stability.
| Product Condition | Warranty Position |
|---|---|
| Standard side-hinged exterior doors wider than 42″ | Excluded from warpage coverage unless specifically approved in writing by Arista prior to manufacture. |
| Pivot doors up to 48″ wide | Eligible for warranty coverage subject to all terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions contained herein. |
| Double-leaf door sets | Each leaf is assessed independently based on its individual width against the applicable warpage tolerance. |
| Custom or non-standard configurations | Warranty eligibility is subject to written pre-approval from Arista prior to manufacture. |
03 — Door Warpage Standards
Door warping is not considered a defect unless it exceeds the allowable tolerances set forth below.
Allowable Warpage Tolerances
| Door Type | Maximum Allowable Warp | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Standard side-hinged exterior doors up to 42″ wide and up to 96″ high | 3/8″ | Subject to all warranty conditions. |
| Side-hinged exterior doors exceeding 96″ in height and up to 120″ in height | 1/2″ | Requires a multipoint locking system or another Arista-approved multi-latch system. |
| Pivot doors up to 48″ wide | 1/2″ | Requires a multipoint locking system or another Arista-approved multi-latch system. |
Measurement Standard
Warp shall be measured on the door slab itself. Door warping refers to the condition of the door and not to the relationship between the door, frame, jamb, or surrounding structure.

Warpage caused by or resulting from any of the following is excluded from warranty coverage:
- Improper handling, storage, or installation.
