The Persia Door is more than just a door—it is a statement of craftsmanship, history, and precision. Inspired by the grand entrance of Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, its ogee four-centered arch reflects the rich architectural heritage of Isfahan, the hometown of Arista’s founders, who immigrated to Canada over 35 years ago to build a new legacy.
Â
This door is a story that began decades ago. As a teenager, Amin Bozorgzad designed the Arista logo when his father started the business 20 years ago, never knowing that years later, he would bring it to life in this extraordinary creation. Now, as Arista’s lead designer and COO, he has transformed that vision into reality, merging traditional Persian aesthetics with advanced engineering.
Â
Every element of this door was carefully considered. The bottom panel and middle rail feature intricate wood carvings, designed with extreme precision and crafted through hours of machining, a process made possible with the help of Art for Everyday, a Toronto-based, PERSIAN-owned company specializing in architectural wood carvings. The upper panels incorporate laser-cut iron inserts and glass, seamlessly blending solid craftsmanship with delicate transparency.
Â
Building this door was no small feat. The complex geometry, layered materials, and precision machining required extensive design hours to ensure perfect execution. From the carved details to the seamless integration of glass and metal, every piece had to align flawlessly, making this one of the most technically challenging doors Arista has ever built.
Â
The Persia Door is not just an entrance—it is a piece of art, a tribute to Arista’s heritage, and a testament to the skill and dedication behind every detail. A door that will be remembered, not just for its beauty, but for the story it tells.
